1939
Founding
Former CEO Yoshiharu Miki founds Miki Seisakusho in Omiya-cho, Kawasaki, with the support of his father Jiro (former Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors).
1954
Breakthrough
Acquisition of the patent rights for the stepless speed changer and start of production and sales under the name Miki Pulley stepless speed changer.
1961
Technical Center
Construction of the plant in Sagami (now technical center) and start of production
1965

Designing of an electrical stepless speed changer
1966
Name change
Change of company name into Miki Pulley Co., Ltd.
1968
Network
Signing of an agreement on technical and sales cooperation in the field of shaft couplings with Lovejoy, Inc. in the USA.
1972
Company formation
Signing of a Joint Venture with Lenze GmbH & Co KG in Germany on technical and sales cooperation in the field of infinitely variable speed changers.
